Welch Medical Library, Johns Hopkins University & Medicine
Rob Wright, MLS is the Basic Science Informationist at the Welch Medical Library, Johns Hopkins University & Medicine. He provides embedded librarian services for the basic science departments of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Bloomberg School of Public Health. These services include expert searching of literature and bioinformatics databases, citation management, instruction in workshops and departmental courses, and collaboration on faculty-led evidence synthesis teams. He has taught expert searching skills as part of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health courses, "Methods for Conducting Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses" and "Animals in Research: Law, Policy, and Humane Sciences." He has also co-authored online guides on the systematic review process.
