Walter G. Wiles, IV, MS, CPIA (he/him/his)

Walter 'Guy' Wiles MS, CPIA is the director of the IACUC Office at Augusta University. He received his Masters of Science in Biochemisrtry and Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee in 2006 and worked as a research technician in cancer research for 13 years at Emory University before entering research administration as an IACUC Protocol Analyst and Post-Approval Monitoring Liason. He obtained his CPIA certification in May of 2022 and in July of 2022 he joined Augusta University as their first IACUC Office Director.
