Leigh Ann Tulleson, BA, CPIA, is the Animal care and Use Compliance Specialist at Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH). She has been an IACUC Admiistrator for over six years, sits on the IBC and has been trained as an IRB Analyst. While studying Animal Behavior at Rutgers, Leigh An was a zookeeper at a small educational zoo and then moved on to join the Behavioral Sciences unit at the Oregon National Primate Research Center. After a career change away from biomedical research, she joined the Research Integrity team at HMH with the IACUC. Her goals for the IACUC program include streamlining processes, building positive relationships with PIs, their staff, and Animal Care staff, and implementing best practices.
