Many institutions rely on just one or two people to write the AAALAC Program Description—a time-consuming and complex task. This session offers an alternative approach that involves engaging IACUC members, researchers, and stakeholders across departments to share the workload. Speakers will discuss strategies for planning, writing, and gathering the right documentation to support the Program Description. By involving diverse team members, this method fosters collaboration, gains broader buy-in, and reduces individual burden. Participants will also receive practical tips for identifying and empowering committee leaders to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
