Sarah Rovito is the Staff Director of the Strategic Council for Research Excellence, Integrity, and Trust and a Senior Program Officer focusing on U.S. Science and Innovation Policy at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. She supports the National Academies’ Committee on Science, Engineering, Medicine, and Public Policy and previously served as the Responsible Staff Officer for the “International Talent Programs in the Changing Global Environment” and “Confucius Institutes at U.S. Institutions of Higher Education” consensus studies. Earlier in her career, Sarah was the Director of Science & Research Policy at the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, where she led the Public Impact Research Initiative.
