Lynnea M. Lau is a nationally recognized leader in research integrity and compliance, with over two decades of experience driving excellence across academic, clinical, and regulatory domains. As Chief Research Compliance Officer and Research Integrity Officer at Weill Cornell Medicine, she leads enterprise-wide strategies that ensure ethical conduct and regulatory adherence in human and animal research, biosafety, conflicts of interest, and export control.
Lynnea’s career spans leadership roles at institutions such as the University of Rhode Island and ProMedica, where she spearheaded transformative initiatives in IRB operations, post-approval monitoring, and federal agency inspections. Her strategic vision has resulted in significant cost savings, streamlined compliance workflows, and enhanced institutional competitiveness in industry-sponsored research.
A Certified IRB Professional, Lynnea holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Health. Her service as a visiting lecturer and ethics committee co-chair reflects her commitment to education and community engagement.
