Colleen Roberts is an associate in the health care practice group in the Washington, DC office of Ropes & Gray LLP. Her practice includes advising a variety of health care and life science industry clients, including health systems, universities, hospitals, biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, and investors on a broad range of regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Colleen also maintains a robust pro bono practice partnering with GLBTQ Legal Advocates and Defenders (GLAD), providing support to multiple immigration initiatives, and staffing the DC Landlord Tenant Resource Center.
Colleen received her Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School. During law school, she served on the board of the University of Michigan's Black Law Student Association and as the executive articles editor of the Michigan Journal of Race & Law. In addition, she served as a teaching assistant to Professor Patrick Barry and a graduate student instructor to undergraduate students in the University of Michigan's Department of Women and Gender Studies. Prior to law school, Colleen worked as a paralegal at another international law firm and in alumni relations at her alma mater, Georgetown University.
