Jen Bennetch, MS, CPIA (she/her/hers)

Michigan State University

Jen Bennetch, MSM, CPIA, is the Director of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) at Michigan State University. She has over 16 years of experience in animal care and use compliance with expertise in biocontainment research oversight. Prior to joining MSU, Jen held a regulatory leadership role at the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center (NBACC) and served as an IACUC Administrator at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Management & Research Administration from Emmanuel College. In her free time, Jen enjoys spending time with her wife enjoying their property, roller derby, reading, rock collecting, and exploring the outdoors with a camera in hand.
