Sarah Lines serves as the Director of the Research Compliance Program at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she focuses on simplifying compliance and increasing collaboration within the research community. With nearly ten years of experience in research administration, Sarah understands the challenges that come with audits and post-approval monitoring (PAM) across various research areas.
In her role, she works to support principal investigators and the research community by providing clear guidance and facilitating discussions that enhance compliance while respecting the integrity of the research process. She has a background in developing training resources that help address the complexities of research compliance and monitoring, as well as working on research compliance matters related to policy, training, monitoring, and internal investigations.
Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California. She is also a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP).
