Richelle Scales received a Bachelor of Science degree in Laboratory Animal Science from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University (NC A&T) in 1993. She’s worked hands-on with a variety of species in natural, semi-natural, and laboratory environments, and held roles in IACUC administration for over 25 years. She is a CPIA® and currently serves as Assistant Director in the Office for Animal Care and Use at UC Berkeley.
