In an era where political influence increasingly shapes scientific discourse, maintaining scientific integrity has become more challenging than ever. This presentation will explore the threats posed by censorship, misinformation, ideological agendas, and external pressures that compromise inclusivity, objectivity, transparency, and ethical conduct in science. By examining real-world examples and discussing potential strategies for safeguarding scientific integrity, this session aims to empower scientists, research integrity officers, ethicists, policymakers, and the public to uphold trust in scientific research and decision-making.
