N05 - Future of Regulatory Oversight of Research in the US

Given the current climate of funding, regulatory change, and public engagement, this session is envisioned as an open-ended discussion of timely topics shaping the future of biomedical research. Participants are encouraged to raise issues of significant community interest, including emerging challenges and shifts in institutional or federal priorities. In particular, the session will consider the question: What does the overall regulatory climate look like today, and how are evolving policies and compliance expectations impacting the research enterprise? Designed to accommodate late-breaking developments, this forum offers space for candid dialogue and shared insight.
